Weather Station Updates

After three years, I have added another feature to my Weather Station reporting templates - National Weather Service Forecasts.

Using the VIS Reader Mini-Web Elements codes, I now have a short forecast for my area displayed on the Current Conditions page, and I've added a more detailed 7-day forecast as well.

VIS Reader does have elements codes for the longer forecast, but it's a bit too "generic", so using the individual forecast coding available, I created my own page using the same color schemes as the rest of my report pages.  There has been one minor setback, and that is that the code for the update time is not yet active.  I contacted the VIS Reader community forum regarding this, and found out that the code will become active in the next VIS Reader update.  Until then, there will be an odd cryptic word at the top of the 7-day forecast page.

Update 11-2-2020

VIS Reader has been updated, and with it the Elements code for the forecast update timestamp has been activated.  Now when going to the 7-day forecast, it displays the update time at the top.

I will be continuing to modify my Weather Reporting template to take advantage of the various MiniWeb Elements codes available.
